Alldrain partners with Green Legacy GmbH

Through the Green Legacy product range, Alldrain is expanding its offering across the Netherlands, Belgium, and northern France. Green Legacy is an Austrian company specializing in innovative, biodegradable soil additives designed to combat drought and improve water management across agriculture and horticulture, viticulture and fruit growing, forestry, and landscape architecture.

When solutions come together

Water is no longer a constant — sometimes there’s too much, then suddenly too little. This is exactly where the partnership comes in. Alldrain develops systems that efficiently drain and regulate water, including the controlled management of groundwater levels. Green Legacy’s water-retaining granules keep moisture in the soil and make it available to plants for longer. The result is a synergy that goes beyond individual products: an integrated approach to modern water management with a positive impact on yields and reduced irrigation during dry periods.

Greater impact in water management, together

The strength of this partnership lies in the combination of two perspectives. Alldrain brings proven, high-quality drainage systems that have been used — and trusted — in agriculture and infrastructure for decades. At the same time, the company is actively investing in the further development of biodegradable drainage pipes and aeration systems that break down in the soil after their technical lifespan. Green Legacy complements this with water storage solutions that make moisture available precisely where it’s needed.

A shared goal

The focus is clear: developing systems that perform reliably while making responsible use of natural resources. Whether in agriculture, forestry, or urban green spaces — the demands on water availability and soil quality are growing. This partnership helps deliver solutions that meet these challenges over the long term, while contributing to a clean, healthy, and safe soil, says Patricia van Deurzen, Managing Director of Alldrain.
