Alldrain is a family businessin its core.
Drainage is in our genes. For generations, we’ve rolled up our sleeves for good drainage solutions, innovative techniques and a positive work atmosphere. We believe in being honest and direct – no fuss, just solid work you can rely on.
What makes us strong as a family business? We think practically, get our hands dirty and say it like it is. That down-to-earth approach has brought us to where we are today, and we’re pretty proud of that.
Over the years, several generations of the van Deurzen family have worked in our company. Even grandma van Deurzen still helps out regularly. We see that as a nice compliment – apparently working at Alldrain feels like coming home.
From pioneering to producing
How Alldrain grew over the years
Henk van Deurzen started in the 1970s as a drainage contractor in the Netherlands with big plans. Step by step, he expanded what was then called ‘Drainage Company van Deursen’, until we settled in Dentergem in 1996. There we got the space to do what we’re good at. From building our own drainage machine to making our own pipes. We’ve always believed in doing it ourselves.
Looking back, there have been a few key moments for Alldrain. The move to Dentergem gave us literal and figurative room to grow.
When we started making our own pipes in the early ’80s, that felt like a big leap forward. By moving with changes in the market, we stayed relevant.
We just can’t help tinkering, trying and improving. It’s simply in our character. We like to think ahead and constantly ask ourselves: how can we do it better? Currently, we’re putting a lot of energy into healthier and more sustainable production. Not just because we have to, but mainly because we believe in it ourselves.
Since 2019, Patricia van Deurzen has been at the helm of Alldrain, which brought a whirlwind of sustainable innovations and participatory projects. We launched the biodegradable Verdiflex drain and are actively involving the neighborhood in developing a green area next to our buildings in Dentergem.

What makes our team special? We’re there for each other and work until the job is done. Often the best ideas are born during a coffee break or a chat on the work floor. What binds us is our work mentality: just do it, don’t talk too much, help each other when needed and above all have fun in what we do.
We ensure great involvement in our team by sharing knowledge, gaining new insights and especially by listening well.
