In line with our commitment to sustainability and biodiversity, Alldrain is entering into a special collaboration with Leasebees. By placing rented beehives on our company site, we contribute to the conservation of these important pollinators.

Bees as indispensable helpers
“Seventy percent of the most important crops for our food are pollinated by bees,” says Cunrath Cornelis from Bruges-based Leasebees. “These little helpers are responsible for no less than 80% of global pollination. With the worrying decline in bee population due to air pollution and climate change, among other things, taking action is crucial.”
Professional bee management
Leasebees makes it easy for companies to contribute to bee conservation. They provide a complete service: from biodiversity scan and installation of beehives to professional bee management. “We work together with local beekeepers to determine the ideal location,” Cornelis explains. “We carefully pay attention to the natural balance between honey bees and wild pollinators.”

Perfect partnership
The choice for Alldrain as a partner was no coincidence. “Alldrain’s vision on sustainability and biodiversity perfectly aligns with our mission,” says Cornelis. “CEO Patricia van Deurzen not only shows enthusiasm for greening the company site, but hopefully also inspires other companies to take steps towards more biodiversity.”
This bee project is part of our broader sustainability policy, where we work step by step towards a greener and more biodiverse business environment.
