Alldrain, together with the neighborhood, creates a new green meeting place.

In the heart of Dentergem we at Alldrain not only work on innovative drainage solutions, but also commit ourselves to a more sustainable and greener environment. With pride we announce a special project: the transformation of our meadow into a public green and recreational zone.

Together with the neighborhood

At the beginning of March we presented our plans for a green connection between the village center, our company and the zone behind the JOC. The project includes two important components: the de-paving of the parking area between our two gates and the redesign of the adjacent meadow into a green meeting place for everyone.

At the end of June we invited neighborhood residents to think along about the development of this new green space. This fruitful meeting led to the formation of a project committee, in which neighbors, officials and people from association life come together to shape the project.

From dream to reality

This week artist Joachim Louis from Wood Stories and landscape architect Pieter Maes from Guerill Tuinen presented their design, which was enthusiastically received by all attendees. The project committee will now further distribute the plans in the various neighborhoods, with residents able to share their feedback until the end of October. Based on this, the final design will be drawn up.

"At Alldrain we strongly believe in socially responsible entrepreneurship"

“At Alldrain we strongly believe in socially responsible entrepreneurship,” says CEO Patricia Van Deurzen. “By greening our site and opening it up to the neighborhood, we actively contribute to a healthier and more pleasant living environment for everyone in Dentergem. This project is a beautiful example of how we as a company seek connection with our surroundings.”
